Murfreesboro Police Chief Michael Bowen announced the promotion of Chris Williams, Megan Manus and Jacob Fountain to the rank of sergeant in a ceremony that took place on Friday, Jan. 28.
“We look forward to these individuals serving in their new roles,”said Chief Bowen, “We are proud of their accomplishments.”
Sergeant Williams started as a patrol officer in March 2011 and served as a member of the Community Oriented Policing Service and as a School Resource Officer before being promoted to sergeant.
Sergeant Manus has served MPD since January 2013. She worked as a patrol officer as well as a part of the Murfreesboro Countermeasures Team before her promotion.
Sergeant Fountain has served since October 2009 as a patrol officer, Directed Patrol, Field Training Officer and as a detective before he was promoted to sergeant.
