Audio Transcript:

MTSU now has a COVID-19 vaccination clinic. Health Services has opened the clinic for MTSU faculty, staff, students, and retirees who are currently eligible for the vaccine. The state has approved vaccinations for people who are 65 years old and older, first responders, and those who work in healthcare, K-12 education, and childcare. The state is now also allowing those who are 16 years old or older with high-risk health conditions to get the vaccine. Some of these health conditions are diabetes, obesity, asthma, heart failure, dementia, Down Syndrome, liver disease, and high risk progressive neuromuscular disorders such as ALS. To make an appointment, you must have an MTSU affiliated email. Those with an affiliated email were sent a link to make an appointment. Appointments will be monitored for accuracy, and people who do not meet the current criteria will not get vaccinated. This clinic is in the MTSU Rec Center lobby and is open by appointment only on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
