MTSU is set to hold their 2nd annual Urban Awards today, February 28.
The event brings a close to the various events MTSU held this month in honor of black history.
The Urban Awards will commend certain students, who were nominated by their peers, for their creativity and feature performances by local artists.
A blue carpet will take place ahead of the event so it is advised that students dress professionally, as press will also be in attendance.
The Urban Awards will begin at 7 p.m. in the James Union Building's Tennessee Ballroom.
