A Murfreesboro bicyclist is dead after being hit by a car on Saturday.
The accident occurred on Saturday around 11:49 a.m., the driver swerved jumped a curve, and struck a group of cyclists on the sidewalk.
The incident occurred at the Joe Knight Drive and Medical Center Parkway where a man was rushed to the hospital and later died.
Another biker is in stable condition and the driver was also brought to the hospital and was later released.
The crash is currently under investigation and all charges against the driver are pending.
