Metro Nashville Police arrested an Antioch High School student after asking threatening questions.

A 17-year-old student is facing charges after asking a teacher questions that seemed threatening. The student began asking a teacher “what if I bring a gun,” and “what if I bomb the school?”

The teacher reported the comments to the school administration and the police, leading to the student charged with making a false report.

This follows nearly two weeks after the Antioch High School shooting where one student died and two others injured.

Police are urging the community to take these “jokes” seriously and warn against making threatening statements.
