SMYRNA — With only one week before the District 7-AAA boys basketball tournament, Blackman continued their dominance against Smyrna with a 63-49 victory on Tuesday.

Ray Tyler led the Blaze with 21 points, with 19 of those points coming in the first half.

“My team just kept finding me and once I got in my rhythm and they kept finding me and as I kept making them, the goal got bigger,” said Tyler.

Blackman’s Kailon Benton-Hamilton finished with 18 points. Xavier McCarver led the Bulldogs with 21 points, while Savon Wykle scored 15 points.

Blackman plays Oakland on Friday for the regular season district championship.
