MTSU volleyball looks to keep their eight-game win streak alive as Conference-USA play approaches.
The Blue Raiders had another successful weekend by sweeping the Patriot Invite, including victories over Seattle and Albany in three sets and a win over the home team George Mason in five sets.
This week, the volleyball team travel to Las Cruces, New Mexico to take on the New Mexico State Aggies, who will make their debut as members of Conference-USA.
The Aggies enter the matchup with a 7-4 record after going 1-2 in last weekend’s Wildcat Classic at Arizona. They defeated Alabama State before falling to the host Wildcats and Long Beach State.
Senior defensive specialist Darian Markham leads the way for New Mexico State as she was just named C-USA Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
The Blue Raiders are led by senior Kayla Henley, who was just named Tournament MVP of the Patriot Invite, and two-time C-USA Setter of the Week Taylor Eisert.
Catch the Blue Raiders and the Aggies face off this weekend on Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 2pm on ESPN+.
