Burgess, Cushing named to preseason C-USA All-Conference Team

The MTSU softball season starts this week and two seniors are named to the pre-season all-conference team. Shortstop Summer Burgess and first baseman Lexi Cushing highlight this year's list.


The two stars already have set a few records for MTSU. Cushing is already the school's home run leader while Burgess is inching game by game for the total hits' records.


MTSU starts their season in Leesburg, Florida on Friday against New Mexico St.
