The City of Franklin is considering a ban on a popular public transportation fad.
City Alderman are voting on wither or not to ban on-demand electric scooters for use throughout the city.
Franklin officials are concerned the scooters will lead to clutter on city street as well as compromise the safety of citizens.
Electric transportation scooters have flooded the streets of nearly every urban market within Tennessee.
Nashville alone contains nearly 2,000 scooter provided by five different transportation companies.
The ban is likely as only one Franklin Alderman has gone on record having said he approved of the scooters.
