The annual baby shower event as taken place for several years in Rutherford County and continues to be a big turn out. Volunteers across the county have been busy preparing for the event that is takes place on February 9th 2019 at 10am-1pm at Patterson Park Center in Murfreesboro.
The first 500 attendees will receive a baby bag that includes diapers,onesies, blankets,bottles and baby wipes.
Organizers of the event say that the overall goal of this annual event is to help expecting parents that help ease their minds and comfort by profinding free items and services that they may have struggled with at first.
This event is not only for expecting mothers but also new mothers with babies newborn to six months old. There will be several vendors , workshops , door prizes and much more during this event. Organizers of this event are still taking donations until February 4th at several different locations in the Rutherford County area.
