A new program in Tennessee could reshape the way in which the judiciary interacts with at risk children and their families.
The family preservation initiative will identify and aid children and families showing early signs of issues and provide services to help prevent family separations.
The initiative is a pilot project supervised by the Rutherford County Juvenile Court.
Magistrate Stacy Lynch was sworn in to preside over the court in December.
