Former Fire Captain Theodore Pertiller has filed a lawsuit against the City of Murfreesboro for racial discrimination.
Pertiller says he has been wrongfully disciplined twice, while following protocols and while checking fire hydrants. He says that the battalion chief has been altering his time records and mislabeling his overtime hours.
