Tommie Curry MTN Reporter

February 5th, 2020

A new exhibit at the Discovery Center has made math a lot more fun. MathRox is a new exhibit opening this Saturday, February 8th. The exhibit will feature various different math games, puzzles, and challenges to expand math skills. The Discovery Center will include special activities for your family to enjoy throughout the day on Saturday. These activities are Creation Station Projects where you can build cotton ball launchers and participate in games like Weighty Matters, Snake Math, Nerf Dart Trajectory, Cosmo maze, Density Bears and Mind-blowing Matinee: Compressed Air. The MathRox exhibit goal is to provide engaging experiences that encourage children to understand math concepts more efficiently, help them realize that practicing math skills can be fun and to help children recognize that math can be rewarding.
