Written By: Khylon Wade-Warren, Middle Tennessee News Reporter

According to Associated Press News, Google Earth has found the skeletal remains of a man in a pond in Wellington, Florida on September 12th, 2019.

A Google user was on Google Earth and located a white sedan underwater in the Wellington Florida neighborhood's pond.

Authorities pulled the vehicle out of the water on August 28th and identified the skeletal remains to be William Moldt, who has been missing since 1997.

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System said, "Moldt went to a nightclub in November 1997, but did not appear intoxicated as he left alone before midnight."

The subdivision was under construction the time Moldt went missing, and the pond was there as well.

It took 22 years to locate and find the vehicle. Barry Fay, whose home is near the pond, says that he never noticed anything while standing from the shoreline.
