The Fully Leaded Coffee Co. opened their second location in Spring Hill on September 10.
The faith-based business opened last year as a drive thru coffee stand after the owners, Steve and Jessica Cardoza moved from Oregon in 2020. The idea to open a coffee shop came from a love for coffee and a joke.
“We were looking for our flavors of coffee and we couldn’t find what we wanted and we started joking around about doing it ourselves,” Jessica Cardoza said. Meanwhile Steve Cardoza was serious.
The name “leaded” was inspired by Jessica’s former co-workers back in Oregon. Whenever they asked what coffee she wanted, she would always say “leaded”, because she wanted her coffee strong.
“It was a long process to learn, because things are different from where we come from,” Steve Cardoza said. “The tips I have for people wanting to open a business is to do your homework on how everything will cost, ask questions and be patient.”
The menu is a mixture of caffeine and energy drinks. The drinks are combinations of the family's favorite drinks. Also, the shop sells gluten free items along with the classic biscuits and gravy. The business plans to have themed nights relating to sports and Steve Cardoza’s Mexican heritage.
The business provides a kids play area, space for meetings and individuals to give any customer a different experience than the average coffee shop.
“What we offer here is going to speak for itself. What we do here is different and I think that’s why we grew from a coffee drive thru to this brick drive thru” Steven Cardoza said.
It is located at 4886 Port Royal Rd in suite 270. The hours are Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The hours are subject to change.
The Fully Leaded Coffee Co. trailer drive-thru is at 4933 Main St, Spring Hill, TN 37174. The hours are Monday through Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thursday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
