[Package] Transcript-

The Murfreesboro Young Professionals Organization put on a coat drive during their monthly meeting on Thursday to benefit The Boys and Girls Club. The event was held at the Mayday Brewery in Murfreesboro and the Pinnacle Financial bank was the sponsoring company. Members of the organization brought coats of many sizes to give to the children in the center. Matthew Stump is a board member and the community outreach chair for MYP. He shares why they put on this event.

"Our big proponent of MYP is “know, be known, and contribute” so this is just one aspect of it which is contribute. We have a ton of community outreach items that we do every year. This is just one of them." -Matthew Stump (Community Outreach Chair)

Last year, Murfreesboro Young Professionals gave away 174 coats to The Boys and Girls Club with a goal of 100. This year, they plan to exceed that number.
