Manley named C-USA Defensive Player of the Week

By DeAndre Williams MTN Sports Reporter March 11, 2021 After leading the MTSU women's soccer team to a 1-0 shut out road victory against Old Dominion University (1-4-1) for their first win, sophomore defender Caroline Manley has been named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week.

Manley is the first MTSU player to receive the honor since Emily Jorgenson in 2015.

“I really have no words or anything about it," said Manley. "There are other players on our team just as deserving as me.”

MTSU hosts Charlotte on Friday at 7pm.
