MCS to Host Annual Cultural Celebration

According to Murfreesboro City Schools, MCS and Patterson Park Community Center will come together to host the  2019 African American Cultural Celebration on Thursday, Jan 31 at 4:30 p.m.


This year’s theme for the event is Celebrating Unity & Diversity from the Past to the Present. This free event will feature art exhibits, food samples and live music from local schools and artists. Students at Bradley Academy will take part in a live wax museum to honor heroes in the community.


The Celebration will be held at Patterson Park Community Center, located at 521 Mercury Blvd. in Murfreesboro, and the community is encouraged to attend.
