The Blue Raiders men’s basketball fell to rival Western Kentucky on the road on Saturday.
Both teams went back and forth in a closely contested first half. Following multiple ties and lead changes, the score was tied at 38 going into halftime.
In the second half it was all Hilltoppers. Western Kentucky outscored the Blue Raiders 50-27 in the second half to clinch the 23-point victory.
The Hilltoppers were led by their leading scorer Don McHenry who totaled 22 points on the night.
Senior guard Jalen Jordan led MTSU in scoring with 22 points and connected on six three pointers off the bench.
The road trip continues for the Blue Raiders this Thursday as they travel to Liberty to face off against the Flames.
