Mt. Juliet have caught a man who tried to evade felony charges with a

License Plate Reader system.

Mount Juliet Police Department says the reader notified them about a car that is connected to a 36 year-old man trying to avoid officers for felonies. Officers found out the man has been driving on a revoked license.

When officers found the vehicle, they arrested the suspect who has been on probation since December 2022 for domestic assault and probation violation.

MJPD said on social media that illegal activities will be difficult to commit because of the LPR system. The LPR system was designed to catch vehicles with ties to violent crimes.
