MTSU Hosts Women's Suffrage Panel

The June Anderson Center for Women and Nontraditional Students kicked off Women's History Month with a panel discussion in the James Union Building honoring 100 years of women’s suffrage.

The opening ceremony included a panel of five successful business women talking about their views on women’s suffrage.

The women discussed how they've been treated in their work places and how women still need to fight for their rights.

All the women said at some point during the panel that they would not be where they were if it had not been for the women before them and encouraged other women to push for their goals.
