The Middle Tennessee Hockey Club had a historic season, and it ended with a trip to the College Hockey South All-Star Challenge.

The Blue Raiders won 22 games in the regular season and ran through the playoffs, as they won the CHS DII Championship. Middle Tennessee fell just short of the National Championship game with a loss to Florida Atlantic University in the Semifinals.

After their incredibly successful season, Middle Tennessee sent five Blue Raiders along with Head Coach J.J. Murray to be the coach of the North team. The five Blue Raiders included forwards Linden Palmer, Brendan Ogle, Ethan Demumbrum, Matthew Siciliano and defenseman Anthony Banas.

The All-Star Challenge spanned across the weekend with games played on Friday and Sunday and the Skills Challenge on Saturday. The North Team came away with victories in both games, by scores of 9-8 and 12-10. The Blue Raiders kept up with some of the best in the country as they made a huge impact during the games.

#9 Linden Palmer: 1 Goal, 3 Assists

#27 Matthew Siciliano: 3 Goals, 1 Assist

#89 Ethan Demumbrum: 1 Goal, 4 Assists

#11 Brendan Ogle: 1 Goal, 2 Assists

Middle Tennessee’s dominance this past season has created waves in the CHS world as they continue to make their case as a hockey school.
