MTSU volleyball continues to dominate as they win their seventh and eighth straight matches against

The Blue Raiders entered the weekend winners of six straight without even losing a set in over three weeks.
This streak would continue as MTSU won the first match on Friday in three sets. The Blue Raiders won a close first set 29-27 before taking the next two 25-17 and 25-23.
Graduate student Kaylee Oscarson filled the stat sheet with 13 kills, four blocks, and a .722 hitting percentage. This performance placed Oscarson in the top ten in program history for hitting percentage in a single match. Junior Laure Jansen and sophomore Adri Rhoda also added 13 kills each.
After a 25-14 victory by MTSU to start Saturday off, the Miners defeated the Blue Raiders 25-23 in set two ending their streak of 21 consecutive sets won. However, MTSU rebounded with 27-25 and 25-19 victories to win the match in four sets.
Senior setter Taylor Eisert tallied 87 assists over the weekend averaging 12.4 assists per set.
With the victories, MTSU jumps to 9-3 in conference play which is good for second place in the conference only behind unbeaten Western Kentucky. UTEP falls to 9-5 and fourth in the conference.
With only four matches to go in the regular season, the Blue Raiders travel to Jacksonville State for the final road trip of conference play.
