MTSU was presented an award on Thursday afternoon acknowledging the impact they have on voter registration in Tennessee.
Secretary of State Tre Hargett presented the award, along with Representative Tim Rudd and Representative Mike Sparks.
The Tennessee College Voter Registration Competition took place in September to celebrate National Voter Registration Month.
More than 48 schools participated in the competition, but MTSU came out on top due to their promotions of voter registration around campus and the number of students they managed to register in just a short amount of time.
