Murfreesboro Lends a Helping Hand to Wilson County

Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department responded to mutual aid requests after a devastating tornado hit the middle Tennessee area on Tuesday.

Wilson County Fire and Rescue requested aid from the MFRD on Tuesday morning. Additional aid was requested from the Mt.Juliet Fire and Police Departments.

Rescue One and Station One personnel responded and conducted searches for missing people in the Mt.Juliet area.

MFRD Chief Mark Foulks say they didn't hesitate when called on respond. The units returned home after completing their support.
