A team of Murfreesboro police officers received STARS awards yesterday for representing the city in a positive light and exhibiting the core values to create a better quality of life.
Officers Nathan Corwin, Cormac Chandler, and Cameron Stamps conducted a drug bust on August 25th that uncovered heroin, Oxycodone, and stolen firearms.
The city recognized the group for demonstrating excellent service in keeping Murfreesboro safe.
Mayor Shane McFarland awarded the officers during the Murfreesboro City Council meeting.
