The individual shot in the officer involved shooting in Wilson County Sunday night has been identified as 20-year-old Quentin Dominic Harris.
When police responded to a stolen vehicle report Harris attempted to leave the scene by hitting police vehicles and driving toward a deputy resulting in that deputy firing at him.
He refused to stop and Metropolitan Nashville officers later found him with a gunshot wound at a home in Hermitage.
Harris remains hospitalized at this time, updates will be provided when more information is available.
