Road Rage Shooting on Interstate 24; 2 Suspects Arrested

One person is injured after a potential road rage shooting Saturday on Interstate 24 near Interstate 840. Two men were arrested in connection to the shooting.


According to the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office, the person was flown by LifeFlight to a hospital. The victim was a young woman who is stable but in critical condition as of Monday.


Officers have arrested both Keyonn Warfield, 20, and Rizighallah Khemis, 19. Warfield has been charged with attempted murder while Khemis is charged with conspiracy to commit attempted murder.


They were both charged with unlawful possession of a weapon while committing a dangerous felony.


They are both currently being held in the Rutherford County jail.


Interstate 840 re-opened shortly after the shooting Saturday afternoon.
