Several Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services were recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty during the February winter storms.
Director Carl Hudgens presented the letters of commendation and challenge coins to selected personnel.
Mayor Bill Ketron, Public Safety Chair and Commissioner Pettus Read both spoke at the ceremony acknowledging RCEMS'S service the during the pandemic and recent flooding as well.
Director Hudgens says that his personnel are the epitome of selflessness.
