Middle Tennessee State University is having its annual “Saddle Up” fundraiser for the Ann Campbell Early Learning Center. The 16th event will be host to plenty of family indoor activities to help the ACE Learning Center with its continued efforts in helping young children’s development.

The ACE Learning Center is celebrating its 40th anniversary of creating an environment for kindergarten age children that allows them to learn communication and socialization. They are a part of the university’s College of Education and provide development of social skills to young children with the help of MTSU’s 200 students that volunteer in the program.

The event will feature activities such as building stations, exhibits from the Discovery Center, and a look at MTSU’s Experimental Vehicles Program which features a lunar rover.

The 2023 Saddle Up will also host a silent auction with family-themed items available for purchase. Tickets are $10 a person and $ 40 per family, with food included for each ticketholder. Proceeds from the fundraiser will fund other ACE Learning Center projects as well as supporting funds from tuition.

Bidding for the auction will open on April 8th. The event will take place on Saturday, April 15th at the Tennessee Livestock Center on MTSU campus.
