Emergency personnel is searching over 1,000 acres of land in Rutherford County for missing teen, Devin Bond.
Bond disappeared in March of 2017, when he was 16.
Sheriff's Detective Will Pinson is currently working to find more information about Bond's disappearance. Barfield Crescent area is the last place where Bond showed his location on his phone and that's where they are searching.
"We felt the area needed to be searched as thoroughly as possible," Pinson said. "Only trained emergency responders will participate. We want to do an exhaustive search."
Bond's parents have been kept updated on the developments of this case, according to the Sheriff's Office.
There hasn't been any confirmed sightings of him yet. The Sheriff's Office asks that people remain away from the area while the search continues today.
