Smyrna Police and Fire Departments Respond to a Fatal Car Crash

  Smyrna Police and Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle crash on September 6, at approximately 5:53 a.m. in Smyrna, Tennessee. Victor Sebastian, 41, was driving a Nissan Quest and collided into a Dodge Ram, which was driven by James Bevil, 42.  


Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services pronounced Sebastian dead at the scene. Investigators suspect that Sebastian was traveling northbound into oncoming traffic, while Bevil was traveling southbound on Nissan Drive.


Accident investigators are still investigating the accident and will report the results to Rutherford County District Attorney at a later date.
