Four Smyrna residents are displaced after a fire destroyed their kitchen.
The Smyrna Fire Department responded to the fire on 305 Chicken Pike at 12:30 on Sunday, Feb. 16.
The four people in the house were able to escape unharmed.
Officials said unsupervised cooking caused the fire.
Smyrna Fire Department Chief Bill Culbertson said cooking is the lading cause of home fires in the state of Tennessee.
