Three Tennessee Counties under Quarantine
Three counties are under a state and federal Emerald Ash Borer quarantine.
Emerald Ash Borer is a tree eating insect that affects the life of ash trees in Tennessee.
Cheatham, Giles, and Maury are now added to the list of areas were firewood, ash nursery stock, ash timber, and other ash materials cannot be transported.
There are now sixty-two counties under this quarantine I to protect the health and life span of ash trees.
