Middle Tennessee was impacted by a series of tornados that destroyed businesses and took the lives of many people. The cities of Nashville, Lebanon, Cookeville, and Mount Juliet were affected. Emergency crews have announced the total death toll is currently at twenty four with Cookeville having eighteen confirmed deaths, Mount Juliet with three confirmed deaths and Nashville with two confirmed deaths. Search and rescue is still trying to find survivors so the count may increase.
