MTSU's Board of Trustees approved two new undergraduate degree programs to start in the fall, according to MTSUnews.com.

The board, which met via teleconference in late March due to COVID-19 concerns, approved a new Bachelor of Arts in Music degree as well as a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Horse Science, an update from the existing concentration in Horse Science within a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science.

According to Provost Mark Byrnes, the program changes were approved in response to demand from students as well as market demand.
