Rutherford County Fire and Rescue responded to a vehicle fire inside an attached garage around 12:30 Tuesday afternoon on Round Rock Drive. Crews arrived on the scene to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the garage and beginning to make its way into the house.
According to Lt. Andy Haston the crew members reported poor visibility upon entering the house, but quickly located the fire and got it under control. Lt. Haston said, ""Although the garage, kitchen, and living room sustained substantial fire damage, all of the bedrooms remained intact, and a majority of personal property was recoverable." No injuries were associated with this fire.
