Unionville- The Community Vikings capitalized their home court advantage Thursday night against Creekwood in an 80-57 win for the Region 6AA Championship. Community will host the loser of the Region 5AA Championship between Pearl Cohn and East Nashville on Monday.

“The last time we did this was when I was in eighth grade,” said head coach Robby Davis. “These boys have worked so hard and we can’t wait for Monday."

Kobe Pride from the Vikings was named Regional MVP and was selected for the All-Region team alongside his teammates Alex Mitchell and Tyrese Eady.

Also selected for the All-Region team were two Creekwood players, Tyler Neely and Raekwom Nesbitt.

Corde Lane and Pride combined for 42 points to make up over half of the Vikings’ total points.

The Region 5AA Championship is Friday at Maplewood in Nashville.
