The Community Viqueens had a slow start Friday night against Marshall County, but a strong second half helped them close the gap and take the lead as time expired before winning 38-33.

Junior Jesa Moore led the Viqueens with 18 points, but the light was on freshman Zoey Dixon. She knocked down a clutch three in the final minute to put the Viqueens in the lead for the first time in the game.

The Viqueens travel to Chapel Hill on Tuesday to face Forrest.
