By MTN Sports Reporter: Dawson Riggins

MTSU’s volleyball team continued their dominate over Conference-USA in their weekend matches against Jacksonville State.

The Blue Raiders traveled to Jacksonville, AL to face the Gamecocks in their final road matches of the regular season.

On both Friday and Saturday, it was all MTSU as they took the victory in three sets for both matches.

Sophomore Adri Rhoda continued to shine with 32 kills over both matches. She also reached the 100-career ace mark during Saturday’s match.

The victories helped the Blue Raiders reach 20 wins in a season for the first time since 2011. This is also the first season since 2011 that MTSU has had double-digit wins in conference play.

The Blue Raiders climb to a 11-3 conference record and maintain second place in the Conference-USA standings. However, Western Kentucky has already clinched the regular season Conference-USA title with their undefeated 14-0 record in conference play.

The Blue Raiders wrap up the regular season against the rival Hilltoppers as they host Western Kentucky next Thursday and Friday.
