The state is experiencing a long pattern of hot and dry weather.
The Tennessee Department of Agriculture Division of Forestry officials are keeping an eye on the weather as there has been no rain in weeks.
Though, there has not been an increase in wildfires in the state, these conditions can still be dangerous, and they are asking citizens to take the proper precautions when burning things outdoors.
Some cities have even issued a fire burning ban.
They are giving tips on how to stay safe during these hot and dry conditions.
