A new bill is under consideration that would move primary elections taking place in Tennessee from March 3rd to January 2nd.
Democrats are proposing the bill with the argument that Tennessee has more of a diverse population than states like Iowa or New Hampshire.
The bill is currently up for debate, if it passes it would take action in 2024.
