Robert Shegog, recently tagged as the "Mule Kick Burglar" recently confessed to a total of 58 burglaries across Middle Tennessee.
He earned his nickname because of the way he would back up to the door and kick inward.
This method has led to $50,000 in damages and more than $100,000 in losses.
Shegog was arrested in a routine traffic stop where he was cited for drug possession.
He was later connected to the robberies.
He is being held on burglary, theft, and vandalism charges.
