A Riverdale basketball standout has committed to the Irish.
Alasia Hayes committing Monday afternoon to play for the University of Notre Dame.
Hayes turned down an offer from Middle Tennessee State University, where she would have been able to reunite with sisters Anantasia and Aislynn Hayes.
She has led Riverdale to two state championship games, and is currently ranked forty-four for the ESPN's 100 National list.
