The Rutherford County Farmer’s Market will be making its return on May 10, 2019, and will continue through October 29, 2019. Shoppers will have the chance to purchase goods straight from the source and meet farmers raising crops in the area.
Goods will include a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, meats, eggs, baked and canned goods, flowers, plants and more. Additionally, there will be free educational classes at 9 a.m. on market days.
EBT cards will still be accepted for those shopping for fresh vegetables and meats. In July and August, many vendors also accept WIC Farmers' Market Vouchers.
The market, which is located at the Lane Agri-Park Community Center (315 John R. Rice Boulevard), will be open every Tuesday and Friday from 7 a.m. to noon.
