Tele-communicator of the Year

Posted Apr 19, 2021

The Murfreesboro Emergency Communications Center has named their public safety tele-communicator of the year.

The award goes out to employees who display selfless actions, dedication, and hard work.

Murfreesboro Emergency Communications (MECC) Supervisor Elizabeth Stubblefield was given the award earlier this week. Stubblefield has been with the MECC for four years where she trains people on how to be prepared for dispatching calls and operations.

Murfreesboro Mayor Shane Mcfarland gave Stubblefield the award during a proclamation he made late last week.

The proclamation recognizes April 11-17 as national public safety tele-communicators week.
