According to the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency’s website the state of Tennessee
is still in a Level 3 State of Emergency.
A level 3- State of Emergency means that a serious emergency or minor disaster has occurred.
The Tennessee Emergency Management Plan is activated, and a state of emergency is
automatically declared.
This is from the mass amounts of flooding due to the heavy rainfall that took place over this
past weekend.
A state of emergency expires after either 60 days or when the Activation Level returns to Level 5.
