After 10 years in the making, the Mayor of Murfreesboro Shane McFarland has been pushing for a Trader Joe’s store to make its way to the city of Murfreesboro.
This is a specialty grocery store, with the closest ones to Rutherford County located in Nashville and Franklin, Tennessee.
An official announcement has been made for the grocery store, but there is no official location yet.
Mayor Shane McFarland tweeted about the announcement, "It is happening! Trader Joe's is coming to @cityofmurfreesboro."
