Traffic in Rutherford County

Story by, Eric Woollworth and Mirette Henin

Although this morning started out with unpredicted snow fall, it melted away.

Around 7 this morning...there was heavy snowfall in the middle Tennessee area. Many people expected the snow to stick and traffic to slow down.

While traffic was a bit slower this morning...the roads ended up pretty clear. There were little to no accidents and allowed people to commute fairly easily. County schools were closed this morning while city schools remained open.

Tomorrow the weather is expected to get a little warmer and as of now...no chances of snow.
