Two Rutherford County Schools are Combining Into One

In the beginning of the next school semester LaVergne Primary and Roy Waldron will be transforming into one school.


The announcement was made today and will conform to how other Rutherford County elementaries operate which is one a K-5 system. Currently, LaVergne Primary serves kindergarten through first grade while Roy Waldron serves second to fifth grade.


Both schools will keep their respected principals, but will operate under one name and school address.


There is currently five hundred students enrolled at LaVergne Primary and eight hundred and twenty five students enrolled at Roy Waldron.
